The Midcontinent Rift - Poster
“About 1.1 billion years ago, what’s now the North American continent started to split. For millions of years, huge amounts of lava flooded the surface, coming from a rift that stretched from at least Kansas to Ontario. Eventually, the rifting stopped, and the lava cooled into rock. Later, this rock was filled with nearly pure copper, setting the stage for the Keweenaw copper boom.”
The Midcontinent Rift comes up time and time again in this series, and it only seemed right to honor it with an Alexis-drawn poster.
These are printed on thick matte paper, and are available in two sizes: the smaller is a good fit for homes, offices, or any other smaller space; and I think the larger size would be excellent for classrooms or dorm rooms.
Details:
• Paper thickness: 10.3 mil
• Paper weight: 189 g/m²
• Opacity: 94%
• ISO brightness: 104%
• Paper is sourced from Japan
This product is made especially for you as soon as you place an order, so it may take a few extra days to get to you. Making products on demand instead of in bulk helps reduce overproduction, so thank you for your understanding and patience!
