Interested in supporting my work and helping me make more free, educational videos? Here’s more information.

First off: Thank you. It’s very kind of you to be considering that, and support from viewers (or “viewers like you” as PBS would say) is one of my most important, reliable sources of funding for these projects. It really does make a big difference.

The most common way people support my videos is through Patreon. Patreon is monthly support (i.e. patrons chip in a set amount every month), and you can support my work for anywhere from $3 to $100 each month. As a token of my thanks, I often send out small gifts (stickers, nature photos, etc.) to patrons who join at the $5 tier or higher.

If monthly support isn’t for you, other folks choose to chip in once or every now and again through Buy Me a Coffee. Despite the name, this doesn’t literally buy me a coffee, but it’s a way to chip in a small amount (starting at $5) one time, as a way to keep these projects going.

And finally: Are you interested in financing an entire video about a story you care about? I’d love to talk more about that. If you’re a business or other organization interested in sponsorship, please click here. If you’re an individual, please click here.
