Michigan is full of fascinating rocks and minerals, and designing this mug was a small way for me to celebrate them and keep their stories close! (Bonus detail: I'm the sort of person who ends up reheating her morning coffee two or three times before finishing it. Something I like about this mug is that, when you microwave it, your drink gets warm without the cup itself becoming absolutely scorching.)
